Prue first discovered painting when she learned the technique of 'englaze' enamelling on porcelain. She has carried this technique through to her present work of oil painting on board and canvas using layers of glazes and concentrating on detail and design. She hopes to tell a story and convey emotion in her work. Prue is fortunate to be able to show her paintings again with Jenny Papé this year and they are having a special weekday opening on Wednesday July 6th from 2.30 to 7 pm. Do come and enjoy a drink and view the paintings, walk round Jenny's beautiful waterside garden and combine this with a visit to the Studio of photographer Diana Neale who is also open in Chirton on the same day. Prue has exhibited in London, Salisbury and through Wiltshire and has paintings in India and Europe.
