Special activities on the Art Trail in July

During our weekends and week days, from Friday 1st to Sunday 24th July there is something special going on.  Here's a list for our Friends and visitors to help you plan ahead.  The higher the studio number the further east, conversely the lower the studio number the further west it is on our map!  

Our map also gives locations for places to eat, picnic and refresh yourself.

Friday July 

  • Studio 1: Ann Swan - Drinks in the garden 6-8pm
  • Studio 20: Mark Upton and Sue Faux Private View with a talk about their work at 7pm 

Saturday July 2 

  • Studio 4: Alan Cowley - Food and wine in the garden under the millennium white horse
  • Studio 12: Rosemary Farrer - Monoprinting demonstration from 3pm to 5pm 
  • Studio 13: Liz Moakes - Demonstration of coiling from 11am to 1pm
  • Studio 21: Wagon Yard Artists - Opening week end with a glass of bucks fizz 
  • Studio 32: Gillian Reeve - Drinks and nibbles from 6pm to 9pm 
  • Studio 33: Hilary Stock - Drink in The Old Wood Shed 6pm to 8pm 
  • Studio 35: Kareen Jackson - Pimms at the Studio Opening Party

  • Studio 37: Paul Swan - Open Garden evening with Pimms from 6pm to 9pm

Sunday July 17 

  • Studio 18: Anne Hayhoe - Enjoy two sets of acoustic guitarist, singer and songwriter with b.e_colling from 1pm
  • Studio 19: Bryan Hanlon - Painting demonstration at 3pm

Saturday July 23 

  • Studio 13:  Liz Moakes - Demonstration of coiling from 11am to 1pm
  • Studio 32: Gillian Reeve - Drinks and nibbles from 6pm to 9pm

Sunday July 24 

Something Special EVERY weekend 

  • Studio 2: Susie Bigglestone - Help with photography "Feel free to bring your camera"
  • Studio 7: Pat Heffer - Coloured pencil techniques "Have a go"
  • Studio 8: Paul Oakley - Painting demonstration at 2pm
  • Studio 21: Wagon Yard Artists - Jacqui Melhuish, Jane Renwick, Mary Thorne and Kate Wade. Chance to win a raffle prize ¬£50 voucher to spend in the Wagon Yard Gallery.  Ticket Draw on Sunday 24 July.
  • Studio 24: Jeannette Therrien - Demonstration of different techniques to make items in glass
  • Studio 26: Belinda Salmon Harding - 15 minute demonstrations of glass casting (NB closed 16/17 July) 
  • Studio 28: Debbie Blount - Prize Draw for framed original artwork for all studio visitors 
  • Studio 31: Tedworth House (Jenny Arthy, Richy Burnett and Martin Wade) - Draw on the Wall 
  • Studio 41: Clive Wilson - "Be positive - think negative! Watercolour demonstration - it's all about shadows."
