After completing her studies at Falmouth University Bryony travelled throughout Asia.
Her travels initially took her to Sri Lanka where she spent time capturing calm moments amongst the busy hustle and bustle of everyday life. Bryony then moved on to India and these new experiences led her to produce work which brings to life the small but poignant moments she witnessed within people. The vast and dramatic scenery in both countries also inspire many of her landscapes.
Beauty in small moments of stillness is the essence of her work. She draws principally in charcoal and pastels, her subjects consist of both landscapes and portraits.
This year she will be sharing her exhibition space with Meriel Balston and Lisi Ashbridge in Alton Barnes.
Special event: Garden Walk, July 8, 5-6.30pm between the two Alton Barnes studios. Wine and fabulous gardens. Landscape Designer available for horticultural queries.
