My mixed media sculptures are my response to the strength and beauty in the miniature in nature; moss, lichen, seed heads, and pollen. I am intrigued by the power of roots and seeds to break through concrete and stone to reclaim urban spaces. My pieces often reference collections and specimen displays and explore the notions of 'value' and 'importance' that are inferred by display cases.
This year I am an Associate Member, apologies that this means I will not be joining fellow artist in opening my studio during the event. Instead I am going to attempt to visit all the other open studios in the scheme and enjoy meeting the talented MOS artists!
Private visits to my studio near Hungerford (no obligation to buy work and coffee and biscuits always on hand!) can be arranged at any time of year by contacting me directly by email firstname.lastname@example.org
