Jane makes lamps, wall lights and candle lights in porcelain, imprinted with intricate lino cut designs. This year, in addition to her organic designs inspired by nature, she has taken an unexpected diversion into geometric patterns which she has found very satisfying in combination with the paper like quality of the porcelain.
Jane also works in resin metals. Powdered metals such as tin, copper, brass and iron are blended and bound with resin to create a material that can be cast and hand applied, creating surfaces that would be difficult to produce in solid metal.
Jane works and exhibits with Jacqui Melhuish, Mary Thorne and Kate Wade at the Wagon Yard Artists studio.
Jane will be present on the 7th, 14th, 22nd and 28th. The studio is open each weekend but closed 29th July.
