Meriel paints in oils, mainly using palette knives - and quite often her fingers! She sometimes adds gold leaf to enhance her strong colours. She continues to paint landscapes, including the Marlborough Downs which surround her, but recently has been concentrating on a series of more abstract works inspired by lines from favourite poems.
Visitors are welcome to explore the mature but developing garden at Maslens Farm.
Special event: Saturday July 20, 5-6.30pm. Late opening, with wine. Landscape designer Michael Balston, will give a tour and talk on design aspects of the garden at Maslens.
