Michael trained at the Royal College of Art 1998-2000 where he attained a master’s degree in printed textiles. Michael has worked with several high profile clients including Jean-Paul Gaultier, Liberty’s of London, Farrow and Ball and Jo Malone London. His passion for drawing has remained a constant and he has steadily acquired a loyal following of collectors. Group exhibitions in London, USA, HK & Singapore have further enhanced his global reputation and his exquisite drawings are now eagerly anticipated. His drawings represent his chosen objects, such as birds’ eggs, insects, feathers, keys, spoons and string. He employs an extensive array of finely sharpened colour pencils. The drawings are made from life in his studio shown floating on a neutral, shadowed surface, described by the artist as ‘the empty room’.
