Barbara Frost
I work from the garden, where my planting speaks to my love of vibrant colour, which in turn is reflected in my floral pieces. My focus usually is on the expressive rather than realistic, often fanciful and decorative in style, which probably is influenced by my early Printed Textile design background, shape and pattern being uppermost in my designs. Paintings this year include work on wooden panels inspired by the seashore and more exotic flora from the Tropics. I look forward to sharing my work with you.
