Open Studios is a friendly group, welcoming practising artists and makers to exhibit from their studios or workshops or pop-up galleries within our catchment area, subject to a successful (free) application. The catchment area is from Calne to Hungerford and from Devizes to Wroughton including all the villages in between. Please see catchment area map below.

Applicants will need to submit 6 good quality photographs (Image file titles MUST include your name) of their work (Work older than 3 years is not accepted) together with a short artist's statement, CV, and a brief description of their studio/space. Please don’t be put off if you’ve not exhibited before and you don’t have a long CV, Open Studios is a great way to start your exhibiting career. Click here to see our application guide.

EXHIBITING artists are open for visitors during July weekends (you must be prepared to open for at least 4 days over the Open Studio weekends). They pay an annual fee of £120 to be included in the summer open studio trails, full brochure entry (8000 print run), full website listing, scheme promotion and social media exposure and own website listing.

ASSOCIATE artists are past exhibiting MOS members but choose not to be part of the current year's art trail. They pay an annual fee of £45 for a half brochure entry (9000 print run), are open by appointment and have an OS website listing.
