Over the last few years I have moved from three dimensional to two dimensional art work – from stone carving to painting. As with my stone carving, my paintings tend to be large scale. I paint in acrylics on canvas and I am enjoying playing with colour as a new painter. Until the beginning of 2018 I lived on a small family farm in South Oxfordshire and was inspired to paint landscapes from the farm and local area. My sculptural interest in form, as well as my newly discovered passion for colour, has led me to explore a variety of subject matter. I am enjoying exploring the local landscape of Wiltshire as an inspiration for some of my painting.
