Become a Friend of Open Studios

We would like to stay in touch with visitors throughout the year so please consider becoming a Friend of Open Studios. We publish a free digital newsletter and send Friends invitations to the annual Preview Show.

Friends will be the first to hear about local artists' private views, shows, special events, talks, courses and other news. We will also feature arty snippets, local exhibitions worth a detour and art festivals in the area.

The e-newsletters are now shorter and published on a more ad hoc basis to respond better to Friends' Private Views andr when hear of an exhibition that you shouldn't miss.

Subscribing is simple

Become a Friend by signing up here.  You will be asked to confirm your subscription. That's it!
If you would like to join by email, please contact us with your name and post code and we can subscribe for you friends@marlboroughopenstudios.co.uk

There are signing up postcards at Open Studios.

Friends of Open Studios never shares its email list.

Who sponsors MOS?

Every year we invite organisations and local businesses to sponsor us in three sorts of ways.  This means we can support two bursaries, produce a brochure with minimal advertisements and promote the art trail on road side banners.

Find out who the the lead sponsor, main sponsors and corporate supporters are here.

MOS: The Illustrated Back Story

Open Studios is an annual super human effort.  How did 'Marlborough Open Studios' begin? Why the 'Marlborough' in Open Studios? In 2015 to mark our 20th anniversary the Back Story was researched by FOS and illustrated with evocative portraits of our pioneers by by Mark Somerville.

A million congratulations to Marlborough artist @d__shoo on winning #PortraitArtistOfTheYear 2019. Stunning work. twitter.com/SkyArts/status…
