Christabel Davey

I studied at Salisbury and Taunton Art Colleges in the 1970's and ever since have been immersed in the creative arts including ceramics, textiles, wood, sculpture as well as painting and drawing. My current work is with finely decorated ceramics and have been recently working on a series of intricate, crocheted wall hangings or mandalas. All my work is inspired by the local countryside and wildlife as well as our thriving back garden which is a haven for creatures of all sorts. I attend a regular life drawing session in Devizes and some of this work will be available to view along with other paintings and work I have created over the years.
I am sharing the venue with my husband Mick .

Directions

Take the A360 from Devizes towards Salisbury, through Potterne and after approx 3miles right hand turn to Great Cheverell. After entering the village take the 2nd left opposite Kytes Garage. Garston is signed on the right, carry straight on for 100 yards and park in the long lay-by on the right. Take the steps at the end of the lay-by and 48 is the 4th house from the end fronted by a tall beech hedge.
