My studio is set in beautiful Wiltshire countryside in the Pewsey Vale with a lovely garden, a small meadow and views towards Salisbury Plain and the North Wessex Downs. Five miles from Devizes and fifteen from Marlborough, I am easy to find.
I am a contemporary landscape artist (previously a photographer) and create paintings which reflect the nature of the ancient lands that surround my studio and the area in which I live. I also paint other ancient landscapes, and many, perhaps most, are drawn from my imagination and memory. Like most landscape art, the weather, seasons and astmosphere influence the mood of my paintings. To date, my work might be best described, for the most part, as expressive-impressionist, though more recently I have begun to embrace the abstract!
