Mary Thorne
Mary loves the process of throwing on the potters wheel. Watching a lump of clay grow into the desired shape, and then decorating and carving the surfaces with images of the Wiltshire countryside.
In the last year she has been developing her range and experimenting with images of Red Kites that fly around her pots.
She makes a range of decorative bowls, domestic ware and porcelain jewellery.
Commissions welcome.
Her work will be on display throughout and she will be there in person on the 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th of July.
Sharing with Jacqui Melhuish, Jane Renwick , Rose Shorrock, Nigel Hudson and Jeremy Wyatt.
