Natalie Neal
This is Natalie’s first year exhibiting with MOS, having taken to the pottery wheel in 2020. She was quickly drawn to carving into the clay to add texture and movement and it remains central to her work today. Each piece is wheel-thrown using a smooth stoneware clay, with glazes that highlight the carved details. Her ceramics are made to be functional and designed for everyday use.
Her home studio is based over two rooms, a display and glazing room and the main working studio. During Open Studios, you will be able to see her work process including throwing and carving. You will also have the opportunity to glaze some pieces of pottery yourself.
Since late 2024, Natalie has offered taster sessions, regular lessons, and welcomes commissions.
