This is my first year exhibiting at Marlborough Open Studios. How lucky I am to be sharing space with artist Cathy Pearce and her husband potter Nick Pearce. They’ve put me in the shed at the bottom of their lovely garden.
I’m a photographer but Ive been given the label, ‘Creative’ photographer. I think all photographers are creative, we all use a camera to produce our art in our own special way.
My images come together in many different ways. I can use many photographs to produce one image, this is how I put together my ‘Bits of Devizes” series. Maybe one photograph layered many times. Perhaps, painted brush strokes photographed then added to another photo, or extending the pixels in a photo….
I love to show my images and talk about them, so come and visit me in a shed at the bottom of a garden!

Netherstreet is a turning off the main Devizes to Chippenham road (A342) about a mile north of Rowde. “Poppins” is a bungalow about a third of a mile along Netherstreet on the left hand. We are at number 73, opposite number 44!
