Stuart Anderson
For his latest collection, Unearthed, Stuart has used heavily grogged stoneware clay and approached it as though he is revealing rather than creating; coaxing out surfaces that look and feel eroded, mineral and timeless.
The pots' muted, earth‑born tones echo the colours of cliff faces, volcanic landscapes and sun‑baked stones. Subtle variations in texture and shade give them a natural, geological presence, inviting the eye to wander across their surfaces like tracing the lines of an old map.
